October Happy Hour w/ NJ Transit
Join us and New Jersey Transit as we host a happy hour following the American Public Transportation Association’s Annual Conference! Come grab a drink, and mix and mingle with fellow transportation professionals in the area. As always, non-YPT members are also welcome.

YPT-NYC & APA-NY Metro Scavenger Hunt
Join fellow YPTers and members of the American Planning Association’s New York Metro Chapter for the seventh annual Transportation Scavenger Hunt! Teams of 3-6 people will scour Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, and more in search of answers to clues about the neighborhoods’ transportation history.
When:Saturday, October 26, 2019, 3-7pm

Join the YPT Board!
Every year, YPT- NYC chapter members elect local board members to help provide spectacular programming – tours, happy hours, book talks, professional development events and more. We’re at the end of another election cycle and are calling for board members for the 2019 – 2020 cycle.
Becoming a board member is a great way to build leadership experience and build a professional community with the NYC transportation world.
We have extended our deadline to apply for the YPT – NYC Board.
Applications to join are due by Wednesday, October 9th.
*To be an eligible candidate, you must be a paid YPT Member by October 9th.
Some key dates to mark on your calendar:
- Extended Deadline: October 9th – Candidate statements are due by 11:59pm EST*
- October 15th – Ballots are sent to YPT Members
- November 1st – New board terms begin
