Hello YPTers! I’m Sam Sklar, 2022’s new Communications Manager. I’d first like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and a welcome back to this monthly newsletter series. I wanted to start the year with some fun transparency with hard-hitting YPT-NYC statistics. Here are a few highlights: Engagement from 2020-2021: ~50% increase in monthly newsletter open rate 22% increase in total YPT membership 129% (!) increase in website traffic Event round-up: Top event: a talk about congestion pricing with transportation legend, Sam Schwartz Top happy hour: CultureLab in Long Island City Top in-person event: Queens bike tour in partnership with WeBikeNYC and NYCDOT Thank you to our 2021 Board for all your hard work, and we’re excited to grow even more with… …the 2022 Board!
