SEPTEMBER SKILLSHARE
Join us for an IPUMS skillshare by TransitCenter’s Mary Buchanan on Thursday, September 10th at 6PM! She will introduce YPT members to Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS), which is the world’s largest individual-level population database and is useful to learn for transportation professionals.

It’s almost time for the 11th Annual Transportation Trivia event, a joint activity supported by the local American Planning Association Transportation Committee (APA), Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT), and WTS Young Professionals Committee (WTS). Given the current safety precautions, this year’s Transportation Trivia night will be hosted virtually on Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30PM. Open to active YPT and/or APA/WTS members. Registration closes on September 9th.

NYC CIVIL SERVICE CITY PLANNER EXAM
Civil service is a path to working in NYC government and the City Planner exam is open until August 25th. We recommend applying if you qualify and if you’re interested in working for City government.
